It is NOT a religious holiday.
Although God did give us the responsibility of taking care of the Earth, so one could consider it a Christian holiday.
Now disagreeing with the chosen policies, for taking care of the earth, and thinking different policies would work better, doesn't cause me to think poorly of your character at all.
But to not care, that disgusts me.
